As they prepare their defence, Mr Moussaoui's lawyers had asked for airport procedure manuals for screening passengers and photographs and video pictures from the airports used by the 11 September hijackers.
But prosecutors successfully argued that the information was on the same level as national security information and the release of it would be "detrimental to the safety of passengers in transportation".
A very handy way to make sure no-one sees anything incriminating - Moussaoui's trial may be the opportunity to get the truth out. Somebody in a prison cell giving info. to terrorists on the outside? A bit like someone in a cave in Afghanistan organising a huge attack on the USA.

He is being held in near-isolation, kept in his cell for up to 22 hours a day, at a detention facility in Alexandria, Virginia.
Once again - I'd love to know how he's going to pass on information to anyone. This may also explain why he's been praying for the destruction of the United States - especially if it turns out he's innocent

Mr Moussaoui was in prison on the day of the attacks, which may make it difficult to convince a jury of his direct involvement in the killings.
And so far, there has been only circumstantial evidence presented by prosecutors linking him to the other 19 hijackers.
Yes things like - "...he worshipped in the same mosque as Mustapha Shite who is Osama Bin Laden's big brother's best mates dog therapist. Therefore he must get the electric chair."
But on Thursday (French) Justice Minister Marylise Lebranchu said no evidence that could be used to back up a death penalty would be given to the US authorities.

They asked his family to contribute to the prosecution in a case which could lead to the death penalty. Moussaoui's brother said:
"I am viscerally shocked by the fact that I, his brother, and my mother and sister were asked to provide evidence in a proceeding that has for its aim to request the death penalty for my brother," he told France-Info radio."

Warnings ignored
The French claim that as long ago as 1994 they urged the British to arrest Zacarias Moussaoui, who is currently being held in the United States on suspicion of being a key member of the hijack team.
But nothing was done. Then, in 1999, the French reportedly warned the British that Mr Moussaoui had been trained in Osama Bin Laden's camps in Afghanistan, and urged them to trace him.
But again nothing happened, although Mr Moussaoui was living openly in London and even claiming welfare benefit.
American agents are also furious over what they say is the US authorities' failure to investigate him properly after his arrest in August, a month before the hijackings.
The FBI had wanted to examine the hard drive of his computer, but the Justice Department refused to grant a search warrant because there did not seem enough evidence to suggest he was a terrorist threat.
So MI5 were warned by French intelligence about Moussaoui and totally ignored them. I can't really see MI5 being given an open opportunity to bash a foreigner and just let it pass. MI5 and the FBI both seem to have deliberately tried to not investigate this man. Shurely shome conshidensh? Like other people have said - if these people were not complicit in the attacks they are grossly incompetent and a waste of our taxes.
