Flight 93 is the flight known to the public as the Flight of the Heroes, because of the Cell Phone Calls that were alleged to have been made from the flight, and the story it spins of the Heros trying to take back control before it crashed in rural Pennsylvania. We will look at just 2 aspects of that flight: the cockpit voice recordings, and the witness accounts of the crash. The main web site is september 11United Flight 93 Crash Theory Home Page - The Real Story of Flight 93

Unlike Flight 77, the NTSB has allowed people to hear the CVR from Flight 93, although there is something that smells: it appears that the tape the NTSB played for the families of the victims ends 3 minutes early: (from Paul Thompson's september 11 debris pics image photosFlight 93 timeline)

10:03 a.m. According to the US government, Flight 93 crashes at 10:03. The cockpit voice recording was recorded on a 30 minute reel, which means that as new tape was recorded the old tape was being erased. The government has let relatives listen to this tape, which begins at 9:31 and runs for 31 minutes. [CNN, 4/19/02, Among the Heroes, by Jere Longman, 8/02, p. 206-207] So it sounds like the recording ends a minute before the official crash time. However, a seismic study authorized by the US Army to determine when the plane crashed concludes the crash happens at 10:06:05. [US Army authorized seismic study] The discrepancy is so puzzling, the Philadelphia Daily News has an article on the issue, called "Three-Minute Discrepancy in Tape." It notes that leading seismologists agree that Flight 93 crashed last September 11 at 10:06:05 a.m., give or take a couple of seconds, and government officials won't explain why they say the plane crashed at 10:03. [Philadelphia Daily News, 9/16/02]

Also very curiously, there are reports of 2 F-16's were trailing it:

(Before 10:06 a.m.) CBS television reports at some point before the crash that two F-16 fighters are tailing Flight 93. [Independent, 8/13/02] Shortly after 9/11, a flight controller in New Hampshire ignores a ban on controllers speaking to the media, and it is reported he claims "that an F-16 fighter closely pursued Flight 93... the F-16 made 360-degree turns to remain close to the commercial jet, the employee said. 'He must've seen the whole thing,' the employee said of the F-16 pilot's view of Flight 93's crash." [AP, 9/13/01, Nashua Telegraph, 9/13/01]

The september 11NORAD timeline says nothing of these two F-16's.

From the september 11 images photosflight93crash.com:

Meanwhile, investigators also are combing a second crime scene in nearby Indian Lake (2.5 miles from main crash site), where residents reported hearing the doomed jetliner flying over at a low altitude before "falling apart on their homes." "People were calling in and reporting pieces of plane falling," a state trooper said. Jim Stop reported he had seen the hijacked Boeing 757 fly over him as he was fishing. He said he could see parts falling from the plane. I lost this link.. but since the witness name is there I've left it up. Some witnesses reported that the plane was flying upside down for a time before the crash; others said they heard up to three loud booms before the jetliner went down. sept 11Post Gazette

Including a whole engine (which is lucky; we're missing a couple from the Pentagon Attack):

Szupinka said searchers found one of the large engines from the aircraft "at a considerable distance from the crash site." "It appears to be the whole engine," he added.

In a story published September 14 2001 on PittsburghLive.com from the Associated Press in the Tribune-Review, but pulled from the website in October ( Flight 93 9-11cached), it is clear that the State police saw no evidence of a plane crash:

State police Maj. Lyle Szupinka said investigators also will be searching a pondbehind the crash site looking for the other recorder and other debris. If necessary, divers may be brought in to assist search teams, or the pond may be drained, he said.

Szupinka said searchers found one of the large engines from the aircraft "at a considerable distance from the crash site."

"It appears to be the whole engine," he added.

Szupinka said most of the remaining debris, scattered over a perimeter that stretches for several miles, are in pieces no bigger than a "briefcase."

"If you were to go down there, you wouldn't know that was a plane crash," he continued. "You would look around and say, `I wonder what happened here?' The necessary, divers may be brought in to assist search teams, or the pond may be drained, he said.

"The best I can describe it is if you've ever been to a commercial landfill. When it's covered and you have papers flying around. You have papers blowing around and bits and pieces of shredded metal. That's probably about the best way to describe that scene itself."

But here's the september 11really interesting part:

"Fleegle, marina owner Jim Brant and two of Brant's employees were among the dozens who witnessed the crash from Indian Lake. Fleegle had just returned to the marina to get fuel for a boat that had run out of gas when Carol Delasko called him into the drydock barn to watch news of the World Trade Center attack. All of a sudden the lights flickered and we joked that maybe they were coming for us. Then we heard engines screaming close overhead. The building shook. We ran out, heard the explosion and saw a fireball mushroom," said Fleegle, pointing to a clearing on a ridge at the far end of the lake.

Delasko, who ran outside moments later, said she thought someone had blown up a boat on the lake. "It just looked like confetti raining down all over the air above the lake," she said. ([ library.triblive.com Tribune search for Delasko from 9-10-01 to 9-20-01])

Comment: If debris was simply dropped from 5,000 feet - it would take a couple minutes just to fall straight down on the lake. They hopped in their cars right away - and still saw the debris fall before they left.

Witnesses say they heard the plane fly over, felt their building at the dock shake. The debris evidence also supports the plane flying over Indian Lake and that plane was falling apart. This debris would have taken 15-20 minutes to float at 10mph and then descend on Indian Lake from the main crash crater. The testimony and evidence do not support the NTSB story that the debris floated from the main crash site.

And we have no way of knowing if either of these planes were Flight 93; after all, United Airlines reported that Flight 93 september 11 Landed In Cleveland!

Christopher Bollyn of www.americanfreepress.net American Free Press], one of the only reporters in America that dares investigate 9/11, reported in an article entitled september 119-11 Mysteries Remain:

American Free Press visited Somerset County to look into some of the questions surrounding United Airlines Flight 93, which allegedly turned over and crashed in a refilled strip mine between Lambertsville and Shanksville, Pa., taking 44 lives with it.

Many local residents believe the plane was shot down, which they say would explain why parts of the plane and its contents were found strewn over a large area.

One question, "is what happened to the physical wreckage of the plane?"

"There was no plane," Ernie Stull, mayor of Shanksville, told German television in March 2003:

"My sister and a good friend of mine were the first ones there," Stull said. "They were standing on a street corner in Shanksville talking. Their car was nearby, so they were the first here--and the fire department came. Everyone was puzzled, because the call had been that a plane had crashed. But there was no plane."

"They had been sent here because of a crash, but there was no plane?" the reporter asked.

"No. Nothing. Only this hole."

This is consistent with a shootdown of an airliner (not necessarily Flight 93) and an seperate hole in the ground from an explosion. The article goes on to say:

Nena Lensbouer, who had prepared lunch for the workers at the scrap yard overlooking the crash site, was the first person to go up to the smoking crater.

Lensbouer told AFP that the hole was five to six feet deep and smaller than the 24-foot trailer in her front yard. She described hearing "an explosion, like an atomic bomb"--not a crash.

Lensbouer called 911 and stayed on the line as she ran across the reclaimed land of the former strip mine to within 15 feet of the smoking crater.

Lensbouer told AFP that she did not see any evidence of a plane then or at any time during the excavation at the site, an effort that reportedly recovered 95 percent of the plane and 10 percent of the human remains.

While specific details vary, the explanation for the disappearance of the plane is that the reclaimed land acted like liquid and absorbed the aircraft, which is said to have impacted at between 450 and 600 miles per hour.

This explanation is also used to explain why there was only a brief explosion with one short-lived smoke cloud, not unlike a bomb blast.

Clearly the hole in the ground, which is confirmed by the very few pictures of investigators at the "crash" site, is not from a plane crash of any kind. It could be the result of a warhead from a missile fired into the ground, but if so, it appears to be a small warhead, like an air-to-air missile, not am air-to-to-surface missile or bomb with a larger explosive payload.

This evidence calls into questions all of the supposed DNA identification of the Flight 93 victims.
