Comment :

There is the official Ahmed Al Ghamdi entering the US on May 2, 2001.

There is another Ahmed Al Ghamdi who lived in the US at least since 1995 and had a licence issued in 1993. This Ahmed Al Ghamdi lived together with several people having similar names than the alleged hijackers. Therefore we can conclude that this is not a case of simple mistaken identity.

See: team8plus.org/forum_viewtopic.php?6.1493

There might be even another one who often travelled to the Phillipines.

Interestingly the FBI first gives Delray Beach as his only possible address. Then the FBI fails to give even one possible address.

January – June 2001:

Not all 11 names are given, but one can deduce from the press accounts that Ahmed Alghamdi, Salem Alhazmi, Ahmed Alhaznawi, Ahmed Alnami, and Saeed Alghamdi were definitely in Britain. Ahmed Alghamdi was one of several that should have been “instantly ‘red-flagged’ by British intelligence,” because of his links to Raed Hijazi, a suspected ally of bin Laden being held in Jordan on charges of conspiring to destroy holy sites.

1997:

He stayed in the same Florida apartment as Waleed al-Shehri for seven months in 1997 but also lived in Vienna, in Virginia, and may have had an address at Delray Beach.

Telegraph, 9/20/01

Two of the suspected terrorists, Ahmed Alghamdi and Waleed Alshehri, stayed at the Anatole Apartments in Daytona Beach, Fla., in 1997, said Eric Bolten, president of Mid-America Apartment Communities, which owns the apartment complex. The $500-per-month apartments, with access to hot tubs and tennis courts, are a mile from Daytona Beach International Airport and near the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Bolten said his Memphis-based company is cooperating with the FBI. Ahmed Alghamdi also is linked to two other addresses less than a mile south of the Daytona Beach airport, as well as one within three miles of the Spruce Creek Airport. A manager at the Anatole apartments near Daytona Beach International Airport said Ahmed al-Ghamdi, who was on United Airlines Flight 175, lived in the complex in 1995, while Waleed al-Shehri lived there from May through December 1997, while he attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. (School officials say they have no record of Mr. Ghamdi attending the school.)

It is not known for certain who the others were; but when Wail disappeared soon afterwards so too did his brother, Waleed, and at least three other local youths: Ahmed and Hamza al-Ghamdi, and Ahmed al-Haznawi. It is reasonable to assume that, like Wail, they headed for Afghanistan. All became September 11 hijackers.

It is not known whether the two were related, but neither seemed to have attended a flight school.

One hijacker, Ahmed Alghamdi, is believed to have lived recently in the Fountains Apartment, adjacent to the University of West Florida in Pensacola. But the Fountains' manager, Penny Higgs, says she examined her records as far back as 1994, and found no reference to Alghamdi. "I can't find a link at all to him."
(Florida Today, 23.09.01)

Patricia Hagelberg, who rented a room to Alghamdi in Golden, Colo., for about a year, said the FBI interviewed her. She said she didn't think Alghamdi was one of the hijackers, but the FBI confiscated photographs of him.
