THE 1948 ARAB-ISRAELI WAR
ALSO KNOWN AS
THE GREAT JEWISH LAND GRAB.
EVENTS BEFORE THE BRITISH WITHDRAWAL
FROM PALESTINE ON MAY 15, 1948.
THE JEWS:
The Jews invaded and occupied most of the Arab cities in Palestine,
for example,
- Tiberias was occupied on April 19, 1948,
- Haifa on April 22,
- Jaffa on April 28,
- the Arab quarters in the New City of Jerusalem on April
30,
- Beisan on May 8,
- Safad on May 10 and
- Acre on May 14, 1948.
The Jews committed massive atrocities. Indeed, according to the
former director of the Israeli army archives, "in
almost every village occupied by us during the War of Independence,
acts were committed which are defined as war crimes, such as
murders, massacres, and rapes'... Uri Milstein, the
authoritative Israeli military historian of the 1948 war, goes one
step further, maintaining that every skirmish
ended in a massacre of Arabs."
One very famous example among many.
"For the entire day of April 9, 1948, Irgun and LEHI soldiers
carried out the slaughter in a cold and premeditated fashion...The
attackers lined men, women and children up against the walls and
shot them,... The ruthlessness of the attack on Deir Yassin shocked
Jewish and world opinion alike, drove fear and panic into the Arab
population, and led to the flight of unarmed civilians from their
homes all over the country."
THE PALESTINE ARABS:
The Palestine Arabs did not seize any of the territories reserved
for the Jewish state under the partition resolution.
EVENTS AFTER THE BRITISH WITHDRAWAL FROM
PALESTINE ON MAY 15, 1948.
The armies of the Arab states entered the war immediately after May
15, 1948 (the date the British withdrew and the State of Israel was
proclaimed). Fighting continued, almost all of it
within the territory assigned to the Palestinian Arabs.
About 750,000 Palestinians fled or were expelled in this
conflict.
Note that the Arab states could not support their brethren directly
before May 15, 1948, or they would have ended up fighting the
British (although some irregulars from these countries had joined
the local Palestinian fighters).
The Arab states could not totally ignore the
massacres of Palestinians and the outright theft of their property. Hence, they quickly put
together an army of about 20,000 and entered the civil war (and
rightfully so) in support of their brethren, in order to resist
this brutal Jewish invasion of Arab land. Unfortunately, the Jews
had between 40,000 and 60,000 well equipped fighters and the
outcome was never in doubt unless the Arab states committed more
troops and resources.
What you are reading about is the first attack
of the Arabs on poor little Israel. Read the above again, does it
sound like the Arabs attacked the Jews or that the Jews attacked
the Arabs. The lies that Israel has fed people are so outrageous,
they are laughable, except for one thing... they have worked. No
one, who has studied the 1948 war, believes the Israeli version,
yet it is still fed to the general public, and particularly in the
United States, people actually believe it.
THE 1956 ARAB-ISRAELI
WAR
ALSO KNOWN AS
THE SUEZ-SINAI WAR.
October 29 1956:
Israel attacks Egypt (with French reinforcements) and in less than
4 days, they reach the Suez Canal. It appears likely that Israel
timed the attack to coincide with the Soviet invasion of Hungary in
order to reduce media attention to their aggression. The attack by
Israel had been planned with the British and French and was an
attempt to regain the Suez Canal which had been nationalized by
Egypt on July 26.
October 30 1956:
Britain and France present both Israel and Egypt with an ultimatum
to stop all military actions and withdraw 16 km from the canal
zone. Knowing that Egypt will not accept this withdrawal Britain
and France manufacture an excuse to attack Egypt.
October 31 1956:
British and French troops, stationed on Cyprus, start bombing
Egyptian air strips in an attempt to eliminate the Egyptian air
force. But Egypt has moved their aircraft away from these air
strips. The British and French intervention is sharply condemned by
USA and the Soviet Union in the general assembly of the UN.
November 5 1956:
Britain and France invade Egypt, with 7,000 troops, and quickly
gain control over the northern canal zone. Strong condemnation and
threats come from the Soviet Union against Britain and France.
November 7 1956:
The United States and Russia demand an end to the fighting. The
British and French cease fighting.
November 21 1956:
Facing the threat of an international war, Britain and France give
in. United Nations troops are sent to Port Said, and Britain and
France are given one month to withdraw. At this stage, Egypt has
won all of its initial goals, and international shipping through
the canal has been stopped by the wreckage of about 40 ship lying
in the Suez Canal.
March 8 1957:
Israel withdraws their last troops from Sinai and Gaza Strip.
United Nations forces are installed to secure peace.
What you are reading about is the second attack
of the Arabs on poor little Israel. Read the above again, does it
sound like the Arabs attacked the Jews or that the Jews attacked
the Arabs. The lies that Israel has fed people are so outrageous,
they are laughable, except for one thing... they have worked. No
one, who has studied the 1956 war, believes the Arabs attacked
Israel, yet this is what the general public are told, and
(particularly in the United States) people actually believe
it.
THE 1967 ARAB-ISRAELI
WAR
ALSO KNOWN AS
THE SECOND GREAT JEWISH LAND GRAB.
In the 1967 war no one denies that Israel attacked Egypt, Syria,
Iraq and Jordan (because absolutely no one would believe that a
successful surprise attack was started by the side subject to the
surprise attack). However, pro-Israel supporters still claim that
the Arabs started this war. This is a lie and they know it. When
saying this they claim that the Arabs started the war because the
Arabs forced Israel to attack them. That is, they claim that
Israel's attack was justified. Well, that is debatable. It is just
as easy to believe that Israel escalated the tension until they had
an excuse (that they thought they could sell to world opinion) to
attack, and then did so. I think that this is the more likely
explanation. Israel still wanted to expand. In particular, it
wanted the West Bank and Gaza.
June 5, 1967.
Israel attacks Egyptian, Syrian, Jordanian, and Iraqi airfields
destroying the combat effectiveness of the major Arab air forces.
Simultaneously, Israeli armor attacks Egypt, reaching the Suez
Canal and occupying most of the Sinai peninsula in less than four
days. Israeli armor also attacks Jordan and captures all of Arab
Jerusalem and the Jordanian West Bank.
June 8 1967.
Israel attacks Syria. In two days of fierce fighting, Syrian forces
lose the Golan Heights.
June 10 1967.
The war ends.
Consider the following quotes from various Israeli military
figures:
"I do not think Nasser wanted war. The two
divisions he sent to The Sinai would not have been sufficient to
launch an offensive war. He knew it and we knew it." Yitzhak
Rabin, Israel's Chief of Staff in 1967, in Le Monde, 2/28/68
The former Commander of the Air Force, General Ezer Weitzman stated
that there was "no threat of destruction"
but that the attack on Egypt, Jordan and Syria was nevertheless
justified so that Israel could "exist according
the scale, spirit, and quality she now embodies." Menahem
Begin had the following remarks to make: "In June
1967, we again had a choice. The Egyptian Army concentrations in
the Sinai approaches do not prove that Nasser was really about to
attack us. We must be honest with ourselves. We decided to attack
him." New York Times, August 21, 1982 and Noam Chomsky, "The
Fateful Triangle."
Moshe Dayan (the Defense Minister in 1967) who gave the order to
conquer the Golan Heights, said many of the firefights with the
Syrians were deliberately provoked by Israel, and that the kibbutz
residents who pressed the Government to take the Golan Heights did
so less for security than for the farmland... Dayan stated
"They didn't even try to hide their greed for the
land... We would send a tractor to plow some area where it wasn't
possible to do anything, in the demilitarized area, and knew in
advance that the Syrians would start to shoot. If they didn't
shoot, we would tell the tractor to advance further, until in the
end the Syrians would get annoyed and shoot. And then we would use
artillery and later the air force also, and that's how it was...
The Syrians, on the fourth day of the war, were not a threat to
us." The New York Times, May 11, 1997
Apart from the direct evidence (from the mouths of those involved)
consider that if the Arabs had really desired to attack, then they
certainly would not tell their enemy that they were about to do
so... they would just attack, no warning, no buildup, just war,
like in 1973.
What you are reading about is the third attack
of the Arabs on poor little Israel. Read the above again, does it
sound like the Arabs attacked the Jews or that the Jews attacked
the Arabs. The lies that Israel has fed people are so outrageous,
they are laughable, except for one thing... they have
worked.
JEWISH SNEAK
ATTACK.
The 1967 war was a sneak attack by the Israelis, no different from
Pearl Harbor or Operation Barbarossa. It was even justified in the
same manner as Operation Barbarossa and the Pearl Harbor
attack.
Note the similarity to the German and Japanese justifications for
their surprise attacks.
The Israelis claimed that it was only a matter of time before they
would be attacked by the Arabs,.... so they attacked first. Hence,
by Israeli logic,.... the Arabs "started the 67 war against
Israel".
The Germans claimed that it was only a matter of time before they
would be attacked by the Russians,.... so they attacked first.
Hence, by Israeli logic,.... the Russians "started the war against
Germany".
Israel claims that the blockade of the port of Eilat was an act of
war, which forced them to attack. Hence, by Israeli logic,.... the
Arabs "started the 67 war".
America was enforcing an oil embargo against Japan. The Japanese
considered this embargo an act of war, which forced them to attack.
So by Israeli logic,.... the United States started the war against
Japan.
A POINT TO CONSIDER
IS
If Israel claims that the blockade of the port of Eilat was an act
of war,
THEN WHAT IS THE BLOCKADE OF ALL PALESTINIAN
TOWNS, IF NOT AN ACT OF WAR.
So the attacks by Hamas et al, have been justified by Israel
itself.
THE 1973 ARAB-ISRAELI
WAR.
Arab leaders repeatedly warned that they would not accept continued
Israeli occupation of the lands lost in 1967.
After Anwar al-Sadat succeeded Nasser as president of Egypt in
1970, threats were more frequent, as was periodic massing of troops
along the Suez Canal. Egyptian and Syrian forces underwent massive
rearmament with sophisticated Soviet equipment. Sadat consolidated
war preparations in secret agreements with President Hafez al-Assad
of Syria for a joint attack.
Oct. 6, 1973.
Egypt and Syria attacked Israel, pushing Israeli forces behind the
1967 cease-fire lines. Although Israel recovered from the initial
setback, it failed to regain all the territory lost in the first
days of fighting. In counter attacks on the Egyptian front, Israel
seized a major bridgehead behind the Egyptian lines on the west
bank of the canal.
Oct. 24, 1973.
Hostilities were halted.
From the point of view of this little series, this one is simple,
Egypt and Syria attacked Israel. Of course, if you were to use
Israeli logic, you would say that Israel started this war as well,
because Israel attacked Egypt and Syria in 1967.
What you are reading about is the fourth attack
of the Arabs on poor little Israel. Read the above again, does it
sound like the Arabs attacked the Jews,... well they did and nobody
denies it.
Correction: In 1973, Egypt and Syria did
not attack "Israel proper". They attacked Israeli occupation forces
on Arab land that had been stolen from them by
Israeli aggression in 1967.
THE REAL CAUSE OF THE
ARAB-ISRAELI WARS.
We all know that the 1948 war and consequent Jewish rape of
Palestine, was actually precipitated by the action of one Mohammed
Ali in the year 731 AD, when he slapped a Jew on the wrist in a
very demeaning way. Modern Jews have not forgotten this horrific
insult and have reacted (in self defense, of course) by conquering
Palestine and expelling the local population. So you see, the Arabs
(this Mohammed Ali was apparently an Arab) started the 1948 Jewish
war of conquest (of Palestine). So now we can all appreciate that
the Arabs are (quite clearly) to blame.
