In March 2002, former CIA agent Robert Baer, who was in Iraq during the failed uprising in 1995, revealed on the BBC show "Hardtalk" early 911-warnings, which had been "ignored". The highlights of this interview included that he himself heard "..in last August (2001) ...about warnings about an attack...non specific warnings.." Baer sent this warnings to his Officials, but because he was an "outsider", they told him to "go away with your names". Baer knew about 500 names in a list, he had 10 of them. His accusation against CIA had been, that "..it's a cultural problem, not only CIA.."

CIA field officer Robert Baer served on the front lines in the war against terrorism during the 1980s and 1990s, risking his life in some of the world's most dangerous places.
