He claimed he
met three of the Sept. 11
hijackers in Shreveport a year before the attacks. Now, that man,
Shreveport
dentist Dr. David Graham, is dead.
His
family says he was poisoned more than two years ago. At the time,
Graham was trying to publish a manuscript about meeting three middle
easterners in Shreveport, men he feared were plotting to bomb Barksdale
Air Force Base. Graham wrote that he warned the FBI. Then after Sept.
11, he saw their pictures among the hijackers.

A couple of years ago, I
posted
a couple of very intriguing news items
about a Shreveport dentist named David Graham, who had written a
manuscript about having met three of the 9/11 hijackers (prior to 9/11,
of course), and about having notified the FBI to no avail.
Mysteriously, Graham was suddenly taken ill, thought to be poisoned,
and was moved to an "undisclosed location."
It recently occurred
to me to wonder what had ever happened to Graham. So I looked up the
source of the original news story -- Shreveport's tv station KTBS --
and sent them an email asking if they had ever done a followup.
Lo and behold, a followup story turned up on their website a few days
later. It's
here.
The text of the story, which comes with a video link:
He
claimed he met three of the 9-11 hijackers in Shreveport a year before
the attacks. Now, that man, Shreveport dentist Dr. David Graham, is
dead. His family says he was poisoned more than two years ago. At the
time, Graham was trying to publish a manuscript about meeting three
middle easterners in Shreveport, men he feared were plotting to bomb
Barksdale Air Force Base. Graham wrote that he warned the FBI. Then
after 9-11, he saw their pictures among the hijackers. Before Graham
was poisoned, he was supposed to testify at a deportation hearing
against a Pakistani man, Jamal Khan, who hosted the men Graham believed
to be the hijackers. Dr. Graham's brother, Edwin Jones, told us
Wednesday night, the family believes someone slipped poison into his
drink, plunging him into a deadly illness.
The video can be accessed directly
here.
Again,
very intriguing. There may not be anything to the story, of course, but
I wonder why no one beyond a local news station has touched this story,
let alone investigated (a) whether Graham really was poisoned (and if
so, by who), and (b) the story in Graham's manuscript?
And an excellent little mystery
story by DFV the Scribe at
Constitutionclub.com:
Do you like a good 9/11 mystery? I know Infidel Sage does. All right,
check this:
A man named Stuart Buck blogs on his website
The Buck Stops Here.
It is apparently a credible site (Michael Barone, Instapundit, and
Jonah Goldberg vouch for it).
Two years ago, he
first
wrote
about the mysterious case of Dr. David Graham, a dentist in Shreveport,
Louisiana. Graham said that he had met three of the 9/11 highjackers a
year before the attacks at a home in Shreveport. He became suspicious
of them (he thought they were planning attacks on nearby Barksdale AFB)
and contacted the FBI.
The man who hosted the highjackers in Shreveport was a Pakistani named
Jamal
Khan.
In 2004, Khan pled guilty to hiding cash transfers to Pakistan, and in
an unusual plea deal the government stated that nothing in this deal
would absolve Khan from any future prosecution regarding the attacks of
September 11.
Dr. Graham apparently met Khan in conjunction
with the 9/11 conspirators and was set to testify against him at a
deportation hearing sometime in 2004, following Khan's conviction on
the money transfer charge. He was also trying to publish a manuscript
about meeting the three men and his contacts with the FBI.
Then,
Dr.
Graham fell seriously ill from what his family says was
poison. Shortly thereafter, Jamal Khan disappeared.
The story fell silent for a couple years until Buck's site did some
more digging.
And
just today, a Shreveport tv station provided a follow up:
Dr. David Graham is dead.
Jamal Khan has vanished.
And the FBI claims that Graham never contacted them until after 9/11 --
except that
one
guy
says that he knows personally that Graham talked to the FBI in 2000,
and he can even tell you the specific name of the G-Man he spoke to
(Agent Spoon of the Shreveport FBI office, if you must know).
So
who killed Dr. David Graham? Was it Jamal Khan? Was Khan a
co-conspirator of 9/11? And where is he now? How did the FBI let him
get away (one comment suggests that they didn't)? Did the FBI really
have prior warning of these three 9/11 conspirators? And if so, why do
they deny it now?
And since Jonah Goldberg first highlighted
this story by asking Whatever happened to the anthrax investigation
(yeah, whatever DID happen to that???) -- one final question: Just how
many subplots, subplotters, co-conspirators, accomplices, go-betweens,
money men, facilitators, collaborators, and confederates had a hand in
the 9/11 attacks.... and how many of those still lurk stealthily
somewhere in the catacombs of international intrigue?
Comments:
Your article has a thread on FreeRepublic, if you didn't know. I wish
this story got some more attention, like from old time media. Maybe we
could get closer to the truth (I too wonder about who slipped away, or
is hiding in plain sight- why did Atta fly to ME etc)
It's interesting that they were supposedly planning an attack on Barksdale AFB . . . after the President was evacuated from Florida on the morning of 9/11, Barksdale was the first place that Air Force One touched down, and the location from which Bush made his first statement to the nation.
They could have landed anywhere, they could have landed at Keesler over in Biloxi. Obviously, there was nothing in the system recording a threat against Barksdale, or at least nothing passed along to the Secret Service.
